Faenza (a town in Northern Italy, birthplace of faience ceramics) comes in four variations in decoration; with flowers printed in brown or blue, and with stripes either in yellow-and-black or black alone.
Arabia Faenza adds bold designs to a simple functional shape. It is a clever combination of 1950s Finnish mid-century modernism and the 1970s graphic style. Faenza's design won the gold medal in Italy in 1971 at the Faenza Ceramic Biennale.
You can combine the floral and striped variations of the Faenza decoration to create contrast between natural and geometric shapes. This design made by Inkeri Seppälä will bring a modern Nordic touch to your home.
A plate mainly for soup, that can also be used as a bowl for breakfast, pasta, rice or side dishes. Combine different colors and shapes to make your table colorful and fun. Adding a single beautiful bowl can create a new kind of atmosphere.
These cute and popular plates have some small imperfections in the printed pattern and a few tiny pinholes or bubbles in the glazing. There are also a few minor signs of wear and some tiny scratches. However these beautiful and popular plates are still in good vintage condition. Please see the additional photos for examples.
