Arabia Pirtti Coffee Cup 3-Set, Vintage

Pirtti (a cottage) series designed by Raija Uosikkinen features hand-painted light beige and warm chocolate brown stripes. This easy-to-use everyday series was popular in the 1970s and it was also a recognised favourite used by many cafes and restaurants.⁠ This simple series creates a beautiful rustic or romantic countryside mood and perfectly matches natural interiors with wood.

The stripes create a watercolour-like effect, which brings variation and liveliness to an otherwise simple pattern. The hand-painting gives an authentic artisanal feel to this nordic vintage series.

Three sets of a cup and a saucer for hot drinks. Usually used for serving coffee- or espresso-based drinks but also hot chocolate or tea.

These practical cups have some imperfections, possibly including: small scratches, small bubbles on the glazing here and there, small inaccuracy in the hand-painted decoration.
