Riisiposliini (rice grain porcelain) is made with a technique in which small holes are carved on a raw porcelain dish. The glazing added later melts in the ceramic oven and fills the holes leaving them transparent. The result is a beautiful decoration on an otherwise plain white dish.
Delicate hand-crafted white rice grain porcelain glows uniquely as light shines through it. This makes the bowl exceptionally beautiful. They are suited for both normal table settings and decoration.
