Arabia Moomin Too-Ticky Mug 0,3 l, Second-hand

“Too-Ticky” Too-Ticky is one of close friends of the Moomin family. On Front side of the mug she is crafting a boat from wood, and on back side she is cleaning a window. The model for this character came from Tuulikki Pietilä, Tove Jansson's life partner.

Arabia has produced more than 80 different Moomin mugs using the Teema ceramic 0,3 l mug after 1990. The production was originally in Finland but gradually shifted to Thailand during the last 10 years. The seasonal mugs for summer and winter are in production only a short time each year with a new decoration. It is a larger type of cup typically used for drinking hot beverages, such as coffee, hot chocolate, soup, or tea. A mug is a less formal style of drinkware, and is not usually used in a formal table setting.
