Arabia Hurray! Moomin Mug 0,3 l, Second-hand

“Hurray Helsinki World Design Capital 2012” This was made for celebrating Helsinki World Design Capital in 2012. The original artwork can be found in “Who will comfort Toffle?”. There is a party in the forest of the Hemulens. In dark of night, you can see them dancing under the lights.

Arabia has produced more than 80 different Moomin mugs using the Teema ceramic 0,3 l mug after 1990. The production was originally in Finland but gradually shifted to Thailand during the last 10 years. The seasonal mugs for summer and winter are in production only a short time each year with a new decoration. It is a larger type of cup typically used for drinking hot beverages, such as coffee, hot chocolate, soup, or tea. A mug is a less formal style of drinkware, and is not usually used in a formal table setting.
