Arabia Fenno Plate 20 cm, Vintage

Fenno (Finland or Finnish in Latin) depicts Corn Flowers. This plant is known for its striking, typically intense blue flowers, loved by many Finns. It historically grew as a common weed in grain fields, like rye or wheat. Modern agricultural practices have made it much scarcer in its native wild habitat. It is now often found in gardens.

These cute plates are somewhat worn with visible and tiny scratches. There might also be some imperfections such as tiny dark dots, singular dark spots, singular small lumps and some unevenness in the glazing.
