Arabia Adam Plate 17 cm, Vintage

Birger Kaipiainen designed BK-model service for Arabia in Helsinki in 1968. Paratiisi (Paradise) is the most known decoration for this set. The white, undecorated version, Eeva (Eve), was mentioned only in the year 1970 pricelist. Aatami (Adam) was decorated with a blown yellow glaze, it was in production in 1970-1974.

Because of the short production time of the monochrome white and yellow versions are a rare treasure. Mix and match the different versions of the decoration to create an elegant table setting and food presentation.

A side plate, dessert plate, bread plate or a plate for cake or sweet buns. This plate forms a set with a coffee cup. A celebratory Finnish coffee setting includes a coffee cup, saucer, cake plate with a spoon and a serviette for every guest.

This plate also functions as a bread plate at the dinner table.

These original vintage plates have small signs of wear and tiny scratches. There might be also some minor imperfection on the glazing, such as small lumps, dark or blue dots, dents, and pinholes.
