Lehto (a grove) is a delicately drawn and rhythmically arranged screen-printed decoration. It depicts leaves from Finnish forest trees and plants, such as: lime, ash, maple and elm. There are two colour variations, black and yellow, shown in the edge line along the dishes.
In Finland, most of our forests are Taiga, boreal forests of pine and fir, so leafy groves are rare and special with many protected species. Maybe this is why the Arabia Lehto decoration feels particularly adorable to us?
A plate for a main course, often used as a dinner plate. This is usually a flat plate type.
These cute vintage plates have some minor imperfections, such as: some minor uneven spots, tiny lumps or dents, or black dots in the glazing. They are also some sings of wear such as scratches.
