Arabia Moreeni Black & White Vase, Vintage

Moreeni (glacial till or moraine) features a graphic black line-drawn design. Glacial till is soil material covering the Finnish bedrock. It was created by the ice age and it is a mixture of rough boulders and the finest clay.

Perhaps this glacial till inspired designer Esteri Tomula to create this wallpaper-like ornamental silkscreen-print. The small layers of lines, circles and curls are like little pebbles of Finnish soil. Arabia Moreeni is a combination of ancient mystery and modern lines. A timeless design.
