Arabia Krokus Coloured Soup Plate, Vintage

Krokus (a crocus) is one of the most liked decorations of Esteri Tomula. Because of the short production period, finding the series is sometimes difficult. Blue and white crocus flowers, green leaves and stripes are made by screen printing on a white background.

A plate mainly for soup, that can also be used as a bowl for breakfast, pasta, rice or side dishes. These multi-purpose traditional deep plates have a decorative edge that beautifully frames the food. The wide edge makes it easy to pass around the dishes and supports cutlery. For this reason, the deep plate also serves as a beautiful serving dish, for example salads. Thanks to the edge the plate is firmly seated on drying racks.

These stylish soup plates have some small dots on the ceramic mass and uneven spots on the glazing. The colour of the hand-painted stripes varies. Also, there are some signs of wear and scratches on the plates. The additional photos show examples.
