Kala (a Fish) is a rare plate designed and hand-painted in the Arabia Art department in the 1960's. The decoration was painted with free cobalt blue brush-strokes. The changes in the pattern give the simple design an exciting illusion of three-dimensionality and depth. The shape of the plate resembles flounder with its round body shape.
A dinner plate that you can also use as a serving platter.
These unique plates have some minor imperfections, such as few tiny lumps and pinholes on the glazing, and splash of blue paint. They also show minor signs of wear and scratches.
So if a bit of wear on your vintage items does not bother you - there are great deals to be made here!
