Daisy -flowers are sunny springtime bloomers with several positive meanings, such as new beginnings, joy and cheerfulness. No wonder Esteri Tomula chose daisy for decorating her dinner set for children. In “Creative Hands of Finland” -brochure in 1965 Daisy was described as “the child’s Mona Lisa, bright and bold.”
A plate for a main course, often used as a dinner plate. This plate functions also beautifully as a serving dish.
These lovely plates have some worn spots in the paint. There are also some dark areas on the backside of the plates, and a few tiny lumps, bubbles, and uneven spots on the glazing.
So if a bit of wear on your vintage items does not bother you - there are great deals to be made here!
