Mother's Cup (Äidin kuppi) was designed by Heljä Liukko Sundström in 6 different variations during 1977-1982. They became popular gifts and collectables for mothers. In the decoration, Heljä used the themes she loved: mothers, children, flowers, soft sheep and home.
The color scheme in these hand-painted cups follows the harmony of nature: green, brown and blue. A fair-sized yet delicate cup warms hands and brings a homey rest to the mothers busy day. Their homeliness matches well with wooden interiors. Original Box.
