Kilta (a guild) series by Kaj Franck had it’s designing started in 1946. It was designed to be multifunctional and could be stacked to fit in small city kitchens. It uses basic forms and is decorated with only a coloured glazing.
TV-set is a cup and plate set, where plate has a place for the cup and for a snack. These sets became popular as the television became more common in Finnish homes in the beginning of the 1960's.
This rare Kilta tv-set is in good condition. The shiny glazing is a bit uneven, there are a few tiny pinholes, dents, and bubbles. These a do not affect its use in any way.
