Arabia Skiing With Mr Brisk Moomin Mug 0,3 l, Second-hand

“Skiing with Mr Brisk 2014” The inspiration for this decoration is from Moomin’s Winter Follies in Moomin comic album #2. The Moomins try to hibernate in the fashion of their ancestors but insomnia places them smack dab into a winter carnival with the winter-sports loving Mr. Brisk. Moominpappa, Moominmamma, Moomintroll and Snorkmaiden are struggling with skiing, and Little My met a white bear.

Arabia has produced more than 100 different Moomin mugs using the Teema ceramic 0,3 l mug after 1990. The production was originally in Finland but gradually shifted to Thailand during the last 10 years. The seasonal mugs for summer and winter are in production only a short time each year with a new decoration. It is a larger type of cup typically used for drinking hot beverages, such as coffee, hot chocolate, soup, or tea. A mug is a less formal style of drinkware, and is not usually used in a formal table setting.
