Arabia Moomin's Day 2018 Moomin Mug 0,3 l, Second-hand

"Moomin’s Day", Arabia’s special Moomin mug, was only sold for one day. A limited number of the special Moomin mugs were available on a Moomin’s Day, Tove Jansson’s birthday, on 9th of August 2018. The mug is packed in a beautiful gift box.

Arabia has produced more than 80 different Moomin mugs using the Teema ceramic 0,3 l mug after 1990. The production was originally in Finland but gradually shifted to Thailand during the last 10 years. The seasonal mugs for summer and winter are in production only a short time each year with a new decoration. It is a larger type of cup typically used for drinking hot beverages, such as coffee, hot chocolate, soup, or tea. A mug is a less formal style of drinkware, and is not usually used in a formal table setting.

This collectable Moomin mug has some small stains on the edge. The additional photo shows an example.
