Arabia Kilta Yellow Pitcher with Lid, Vintage

Kilta (a guild) series by Kaj Franck had it’s designing started in 1946. It was designed to be multifunctional and could be stacked to fit in small city kitchens. It uses basic forms and is decorated with only a coloured glazing.

A Jug/pitcher is a vessel for serving water, tea, coffee, milk, juice or beer at meal time. You can also use it for serving liquid seasoning, or as a vase for flowers.

This part of the series is much rarer than the others. Buy it while it is in stock as finding new stock will probably take a while!

This rare Kilta pitcher with a lid has two tiny chips under the glazing, one on the lid and one on the pitcher. There are some minor marks of wear and darker or lighter spots. There is no stamp on the bottom. Please see the additional photos.
