Arabia Kimmel (a poetic expression meaning to twinkle, shimmer or glisten) was designed by one of Arabia's most talented decorators, Esteri Tomula. When viewed up close, you suddenly notice how the illustrations are made up of really adorable little lines, dots, balls and twists. They are like little golden flowers or cherries dancing across the dish, or perhaps like dandelions in the wind. The model likewise has traditional decorative shapes and an understated elegance. These lovely vintage plates show some minor signs of wear, such as small scratches on tiny chips on the bottom ring of the plates. There are some tiny dark dots and bubbles in the glazing.
