Arabia Arctica Pudas Coffee Cup, Vintage

Pudas (a river branch) decoration features waves and stripes in two shades of blue on fresh white background. The decoration looks like a beautiful watercolour painting of a gently flowing river. The atmosphere is very balanced and calming.

The Arabia Arctica model was inspired by the idea of making dishes that feel lovely to the touch. Holding one, you can really notice how the soft round edges are designed to feel pleasant against the hands and mouth. These dishes are like holding delicate and precious birds’ eggs. This model by Inkeri Leivo is one of Arabia Finland’s most bought series and has been in production since 1979. It was Arabia’s first vitro porcelain series, safe for oven, microwave, and dishwasher. It is also a very popular wedding present.

There are some minor imperfections in these lovely coffee cups, such as a few tiny dark dots, bubbles, lumps or pinholes on the glazing. There are some minor signs of wear and a few small scratches. The additional photos show examples.
