Kaira (an arctic forest wilderness) decoration by Anja Jaatinen-Winquist features hand-painted stripes in beautiful chocolate brown and dark navy blue.
The stripes create a watercolour-like effect, which brings variation and liveliness to an otherwise simple pattern. The hand-painting gives an authentic artisanal feel to this Nordic vintage series.

The wide edge makes it easy to pass around the dishes and supports cutlery. For this reason, the deep plate also serves as a beautiful serving dish. Thanks to the edge the plate is firmly seated on drying racks.
These hand-painted plates have some small imperfections, such as tiny lumps, dents, pinholes on the glazing or a darker or lighter spots on the hand-painted stripes . The plates are in good vintage condition, but you might see some odd tiny scratches. The additional photos show examples.
