Arabia Balladi Plate 18 cm, Vintage

Balladi (a ballad is a romantic poem or a lyrical song telling a story) features printed light blue stripes with green lines and bluebell flowers.

The hand-painted stripes create a watercolour-like effect, which brings variation and liveliness to an otherwise simple pattern. The hand-painting gives an authentic artisanal feel to this Nordic vintage series.

A side plate, dessert plate, bread plate or a plate for cake or sweet buns. This plate forms a set with a coffee cup. A celebratory Finnish coffee setting includes a coffee cup, saucer, cake plate with a spoon and a serviette for every guest. This plate also functions as a bread plate at the dinner table.

These vintage plates are in good condition, they show no signs of wear. There are some minor imperfections, such as a tiny bubble or an uneven spot or a dark dot on the glazing. The additional photos show examples.
