Kilta (a guild) series by Kaj Franck had it’s designing started in 1946. It was designed to be multifunctional and could be stacked to fit in small city kitchens. It uses basic forms and is decorated with only a coloured glazing.
A Jug/pitcher is a vessel for serving water, tea, coffee, milk, juice or beer at meal time. You can also use it for serving liquid seasoning, or as a vase for flowers.
This impressive Kilta pitcher is in good condition. The shiny glazing is a bit uneven, there are a tiny pinholes, dents, bubbles and lighter spots. These a do not affect its use in any way. Please see the photos.
