Riihimäen Lasi Grapponia Clear Bowl 0,3 l, Vintage

Grapponia (referring to grapes) is one of the most famous series designed by Nanny Still. The super cute pattern is made of lots of little droplets of glass, arranged in circles and floral shapes.

One of the most popular Nordic vintage design glass series, Grapponia is loved for the interesting lace-like patterns its reflection and shadows create.

Balanced with colours that feel light and fresh, Grapponia is like a Finnish forest after the rain. Grapponia is a great series to find and collect with many parts and 6 colours: clear, blue, green, brown (amber), amethyst (neodymium) and the fluorescent yellow (lemon) colour.

This retro decoration is made from thick mould-pressed glass. This type of glass refracts light the same way as crystal, so it has a brilliant sparkle. Mould-pressed glass is also wonderfully strong and practical, made with everyday use in mind. A speciality of vintage Finnish glass is the lovely surface patterns, which are really enjoyable to hold and touch with your fingers.

A small glass bowl designed for a serving cold courses like ice cream, yogurt or salad. These bowls can also be used as sugar bowls.
