Arabia Krokus Black & White Teacup, Vintage

Krokus (a crocus) is one of the most liked and recognised decorations by Esteri Tomula. A true signature design. Because of the short production period, finding the series is sometimes difficult. The Krokus series was produced only during the years 1978-1979 by Arabia Finland.

The series comes in a black-and-white and colour version made by silkscreen printing on a white background. The black-and-white version features an outline drawing of Crocus, an iconic woodland flower. The beautiful thin lines on crisp white seem to grasp the feeling of early spring, full of promise for the future!

It is a pity that the Krokus is a rather rare series, because it is super popular and always sells out fast. Act now if you dream of having these in your home!

A set of a cup and a saucer for hot drinks. Usually used for serving tea, but also hot chocolate or coffee with milk.

These rare vintage teacups have some minor imperfections, such as a few tiny black dots, bubbles and dents on the glazing. Also, there are some signs of wear and tiny scratches especially on the saucers. The additional photos show examples.
