Arabia Krokus Coloured Demitasse Cup, Vintage

Krokus (a crocus) is one of the most liked and recognised decorations by Esteri Tomula. A true signature design. Because of the short production period, finding the series is sometimes difficult. The Krokus series was produced only during the years 1978-1979 by Arabia Finland.

The series comes in a black-and-white and colour version made by silkscreen printing on a white background. The coloured pattern features blue and white Crocus, an iconic woodland flower, with fresh green leaves. The beautiful thin lines on crisp white seem to grasp the feeling of early spring, full of promise for the future!

It is a pity that the Krokus is a rather rare series, because it is super popular and always sells out fast. Act now if you dream of having these in your home!

A demitasse, or espresso cup is a smaller sized coffee cup for stronger coffee, mocha. It comes with a saucer, and it is usually about half the size of a normal coffee cup.

These cute vintage demitasse cups have some minor imperfections, such as some imprecision of the print and hand-painted stripes. There might be tiny darker dots and some tiny signs of wear and light scratches. The additional photos show examples.
