Hiisi is originally denoting sacred localities and later on various types of mythological entities in Finnish mythology. The Hiisi series was the first series produced in Pentik's ceramics factory, the nothernmost in the world.

The decoration features mysterious marks used in original Lappish culture, Sami. This tableware series has gained reputation for it's round shapes and handicraft feel.

A set of a cup and a saucer for hot drinks. Usually used for serving tea, but also hot chocolate or coffee with milk. Did you know that Finnish vintage teacups are actually rarer than the coffee cups? This why they are also more valuable.
