Faenza (a town in Northern Italy, birthplace of faience ceramics) comes in four variations in decoration; with flowers printed in brown or blue, and with stripes either in yellow-and-black or black alone.

Arabia Faenza adds bold designs to a simple functional shape. It is a clever combination of 1950s Finnish mid-century modernism and the 1970s graphic style. Faenza's design won the gold medal in Italy in 1971 at the Faenza Ceramic Biennale.

You can combine the floral and striped variations of the Faenza decoration to create contrast between natural and geometric shapes.

This design made by Inkeri Seppälä will bring a modern Nordic touch to your home.

A set of a cup and a saucer for hot drinks. Usually used for serving tea, but also hot chocolate or coffee with milk. Did you know that Finnish vintage teacups are actually rarer than the coffee cups? This why they are also more valuable.

This cute vintage teacup has some minor imperfections, such as: the glazing is a bit uneven and there might be a tiny pinhole, a bubble or a lump. The cup and saucer shows small signs of wear, tiny scratches. There are some minor flaws on the print, such as lighter spots or extra drops of colour. The additional photos show examples.
