Uhtua (a village in Karelia) was famous for its tradition of singing the poems of Kalevala. You might still find these beautiful shades of blue in its traditional wooden houses. This simple series creates a beautiful rustic lakeside feel and has a calm and composed atmosphere.

The stripes create a watercolour-like effect, which brings variation and liveliness to an otherwise simple pattern. The hand-painting gives an authentic artisanal feel to this Nordic vintage series.

A ceramic coffeepot is a vessel for serving coffee. It has a handle and a lid with a shaped opening. It is usually taller and slender than a teapot and has a longer spout for pouring coffee.

This Finnish vintage coffeepot has some minor imperfections. Such as a lighter spot on the blue hand-painted stripe and a few darker dots. There are tiny lumps, bubbles and scratches on the glazing. The additional photos show examples.
