Arabia Uhtua Pitcher 1,0 l, Vintage

Uhtua (a village in Karelia) was famous for its tradition of singing the poems of Kalevala. You might still find these beautiful shades of blue in its traditional wooden houses. This simple series creates a beautiful rustic lakeside feel and has a calm and composed atmosphere.

The stripes create a watercolour-like effect, which brings variation and liveliness to an otherwise simple pattern. The hand-painting gives an authentic artisanal feel to this Nordic vintage series.

A Jug/pitcher is a vessel for serving water, tea, coffee, milk, juice or beer at meal time. You can also use it for serving liquid seasoning, or as a vase for flowers.

This stylish vintage pitcher is in good vintage condition. There is a small lump on the glazing on the edge of the pticher and some minor marks of use on the the stripe underneath ,such as small scratches or wear. The additional photos show examples.
