Arabia Miranda Blue Cake Platter 26 cm, Vintage

Miranda (a female given name meaning "worthy of admiration") features a sweet and simple flower decoration in blue or chocolate brown.

This pattern was made using the air-brush stencil technique, which creates beautifully soft and fuzzy edges around the pattern. This technique has a strong vintage feel and was very popular in the 60s and 70s.

Stencil-printed decorations are simple but adorable: flowers, dots and stripes. Stencils were used to produce dishwasher safe everyday coffee cups with a bit rougher quality.

A cake platter for serving cake and sweet or salty pastries with tea or coffee.

This beautiful cake platter is in good condition. However it has some small imperfections, such as some typical inaccuracy with the blue stencil colour and a few tiny lumps or dents on the glazing. Please see the photos.
