Uhtua (a village in Karelia) was famous for its tradition of singing the poems of Kalevala. You might still find these beautiful shades of blue in its traditional wooden houses. This simple series creates a beautiful rustic lakeside feel and has a calm and composed atmosphere.

The stripes create a watercolour-like effect, which brings variation and liveliness to an otherwise simple pattern. The hand-painting gives an authentic artisanal feel to this Nordic vintage series.

A teapot is a ceramic jug or vessel for brewing and serving tea.

This practical teapot has some minor marks of use, such as tiny scratches or wear and some tainted spots on the strainer. There are also a few imperfections on the glazing, like tiny dark spots, pinholes or dents. Please see the additional photos for examples.
