Primavera (spring in Italian) is a Iittala & Marimekko collaboration. The pattern depicts a popular summer flower, the Pot Marigold, and has a vibrant and energetic summer feel. This design will make summer last all year in your home.

It is designed by Marimekko's best-known designer Maija Isola. Isola painted it in the 70s, whilst living along the Mediterranean coast in Algeria, where Pot Marigolds are a common addition to local cuisine! According to Marimekko, the design also reflects Isola’s home sickness and yearning for Finland.

Maija Isola’s daughter Kristiina Isola adapted the original print for the dishes. These rare delights were only sold for a few years in the early 2000s. Primavera dishes were made in eight colours, which are fun to mix: yellow, orange, lilac, blue, light green, dark green, red and pink.

Primavera will instantly brighten your home and make your everyday beautiful.

A mug is a larger type of cup typically used for drinking hot beverages, such as coffee, hot chocolate, soup, or tea. A mug is a less formal type of drinkware, and is not usually used in a formal table setting.
