Arabia Arctica Poetica Plate 26 cm, Vintage

Poetica (poetic) decoration features spring flowers, pink and orange tulips and yellow flowers with green leaves - all made by screen printing. This decoration is beautiful and painterly, and brings to mind a summer garden.

The Arabia Arctica model was inspired by the idea of making dishes that feel lovely to the touch. Holding one, you can really notice how the soft round edges are designed to feel pleasant against the hands and mouth. These dishes are like holding delicate and precious birds’ eggs. This model by Inkeri Leivo is one of Arabia Finland’s most bought series and has been in production since 1979. It was Arabia’s first vitro porcelain series, safe for oven, microwave, and dishwasher. It is also a very popular wedding present.
