Arabia Kilta Green Pitcher, Vintage

Kilta (a guild) series by Kaj Franck had it’s designing started in 1946. It was designed to be multifunctional and could be stacked to fit in small city kitchens. It uses basic forms and is decorated with only a coloured glazing.

A Jug/pitcher is a vessel for serving water, tea, coffee, milk, juice or beer at meal time. You can also use it for serving liquid seasoning, or as a vase for flowers.

This impressive Kilta pitcher is in excellent condition, however it has small parts where the glazing is missing near the bottom. This is on the outside of the pitcher and does not affect its use in any way. Please see the additional photo.
