The flower ornaments of Arabia Maustepurkit (spice jars) were designed by Raija Uosikkinen. The series is often incorrectly attributed to Esteri Tomula, who designed a later decoration Maustekuvat for the same model featuring a silkscreen pattern of spices. These adorable little jars are a really lovely touch to any kitchen, both displayed on the kitchen counter or as a brilliant surprise when you open the cupboard. They create a sense of a person who appreciates stylish presentation and neat arranging.
The printed pattern has the spice name of in four different languages (Finnish, English, Swedish, and French) surrounded by an ornament of flowers. There are a total of 14 motifs: curry, ginger, cinnamon, cardamom, cumin, bay leaf, marjoram, nutmeg, clove, paprika, pepper, sage, tea, and thyme.
