Arabia Common Bent Coffee Set, Vintage

In the early 1990s, the Finnish Association for Nature Conservation (Suomen luonnonsuojeluliitto) commissioned a series of coffee cups and plates from the Arabia factory for its members. The series depicted Finnish summer flowers, and the motifs were printed onto the Arabia Moreeni model. Later, Arabia also used these motifs for the Arabia Arctica series plates and cups.

There are a total of 12 different Finnish Summer Flower motifs:
Catsfoot, Red clover, Clammy campion, Glaucous dog rose, Maiden pink, Harebell, Cow vetch, Germander speedwell, Heath violet, Wild pansy, Common bent and Clustered bellflower.

A coffee cup, its saucer and a cake plate together form one coffee set. Usually used for serving coffee- or espresso-based drinks but also hot chocolate or tea. A bread plate or a plate for cake or sweet buns makes the set perfect. Beautiful coffee sets are popular as gifts. They fit well for both a hurry-free everyday and celebrations.
