Arabia Pomona Strawberry Jar, Vintage

Pomona (name of a goddess) was the goddess of fruitful abundance; fruit trees, gardens and orchards in ancient Roman religion and myth. In Raija Uosikkinen's cute Pomona series, there are nine different patterns of fruit and berries. Colourful prints of the fruit and berries cover the surface of these popular dishes.

A jar is a container that can be used for long-term storing of foods and drinks. You can also use it for interior decoration. For example, you could put in some flowers, your favorite sweets, stationery and so on.

There is one imperfection in this lovely jar: a small dent under the lip of the jar. It is under the glazing. Please see the additional photo.
