Martinex is a family-owned Finnish company that designs, manufactures and imports games, toys, clothing, accessories and household goods. Martinex was established in 1986. The year 1992 was a milestone for Martinex as they began cooperating with Moomin Characters.

Martinex is currently manufacturing internationally but the majority of the products are designed in Finland.
